English Language & IELTS

IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is the preferred language test for most universities in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. It is recognised by professional bodies, immigration authorities and other government agencies.

The course is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is used as the language of communication.

IELTS conforms to the highest international standards of language assessment. It covers the four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking.

The IELTS examination is taken in centres near the St. Andrew’s schools in London and Cambridge. IELTS and General English classes are for students who require rapid improvement of their English.

For over 12 years Select English Cambridge has been teaching general English and IELTS exam preparation to students from across the world.

More recently Select English has started to offer courses in London. All teaching staff at the schools are experienced and well qualified.
