St Andrews Cambridge, established in 1971, has
enjoyed a reputation over many years for enhancing
examination performance for students at all levels.
Drawing on this expertise, Easter Revision courses
were introduced over ten years ago to provide
intensive tuition for students preparing for GCSE and
A Level exams. The aim of Easter Revision is not only
for students to become secure in their subject
knowledge but also for them to become confident at
taking exams efficiently. Exam technique, a skill
which is sometimes neglected in schools, is given
much emphasis. Success in public exams, however, is not just about technique: it is also about developing confidence and motivation. To this end, classes are small - a maximum of eight students per group – so that students quickly feel at ease asking questions.
