I studied at St
Andrew’s, Cambridge from 2002 – 2005. I did
a year of GCSE and continued with my A-levels. I studied Law,
Economics and History and received A grades in all subjects.
The college gave me the opportunity to achieve my high goals
and to get to the university I wanted. Now I am studying International
Relations in LSE and clearly the skills that I gained in Cambridge
give me confidence for my performance.
The highly qualified teachers helped me to
achieve the aims that I had and the continuous support from
all sides contributed to build up a stable base of knowledge
and skills that are and will be very useful for me.

Testimonial from Dr. Santhini Jeyarajah

‘I
did my A levels at St Andrew’s, Cambridge from 1996 –1997
and achieved 4As in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
St Andrew’s being the small, friendly, and beautifully
placed school it is, allowed those of us lucky enough to be
students there to grow socially but with enough of an emphasis
of academia to ensure that we never lost sight of our goals.
There was always a friendly and often guiding voice or understanding
ear when you needed it particularly amongst the faculty.
Most importantly my time and achievements at St Andrew’s
formed the building blocks for the rest of my academic and professional
career.
I went on to Medical School in Nottingham and have now been
in surgical training for three years. The work ethic and social
skills I learnt there have formed the foundation to my fortunate
success so far. It was a time that has become an integral part
of who I am, the relationships I made there continuing to last
and grow, and the lessons I learnt, in and out of the classroom,
invaluable ones that I draw upon often if not every day. April 2006 – Santhini appointed Surgical Research
Fellow at Kings College Hospital, London.
