St. Andrew's is in the centre of the city close to the university colleges and the river, which is famous for punting. It is a safe environment, which provides cultural, social and academic facilities including libraries, bookshops, art galleries, museums, theatres, cinemas, sports centres and restaurants.

 
     
St Andrew's Cambridge
is a Sixth Form College for overseas students. The College provides full-time education through 1 & 2-year GCSE courses, 18 month & 2 year A-level courses and 7 & 10 month Foundation courses.
St. Andrew’s is registered with the DfES and is recognised as efficient by the British Accreditation Council. St. Andrew's was founded in 1976 as Cambridge's first independent A-level College.
The College also has a separate subsidiary, Select English, offering courses of English as a Foreign Language in both Cambridge and London. Select English is accredited by the British Council.
