Summary of British Accreditation
Council Inspection
St. Andrew’s Cambridge was first accredited by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education in 1988. It was most recently re-inspected in October 2004. BAC’s inspectors reported on an excellent or very good standard of provision in all areas assessed during the inspection. The high level of awareness of the needs of overseas students shown by tutors, and the excellent support given to those applying for places at UK universities was particularly commended. Teaching staff are very well qualified and experienced, making use of a good range of materials which went beyond the normal textbook contents.

A-level examination results showed a high level of achievement. Students from the Foundation programmes had a good record both of gaining places in degree
programmes for which there was strong competition and of success at university. College residential accommodation, both in Cambridge and London, compared well with that seen at other colleges.
