Living in Cambridge

Cambridge is a great place for international students. Safe, beautiful, relaxing yet lively. There is always something to do.

Cambridge is one of the most beautiful university cities in the world, famous internationally for education.

It’s a compact, cosmopolitan city, dominated by the magnificent university architecture and the River Cam which flows through the centre and past the backs of the college gardens.

Presidents and princes, prime-ministers and princesses have all studied in Cambridge, along with some of the UK’s most celebrated scientists, authors and leaders.

The academic atmosphere of the city inspires students, as do the many museums, art galleries and theatrical productions.
Relax in the city’s cafes, restaurants and parks, get active, taking advantage of the plentiful sports facilities, or try punting down the River Cam, a popular student activity.

Cambridge is only 50 minutes by train from London and about one and a half hours from Heathrow Airport.
