A good IELTS score is key to getting you into your chosen university
ENGLISH LANGUAGE LESSONS (IELTS & EAP)
St Andrew’s College, Cambridge has been welcoming students from all over the world for the last 20 years. We understand the challenges of studying in a second language and a new academic environment and offer a range of English support classes to help prepare you for success at university.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
Most universities in the UK require a score of at least 6.5 in the IELTS exam. Our teachers have a lot of experience in preparing students for the exam and will help you to achieve the score that you need.
English for Academic Purposes (EAP)
Our EAP course is designed for students who have already reached the entry requirements for their chosen university. The classes will help you to develop the language and study skills you need to follow a degree course at a UK university.

* Three hours of IELTS is included in the course fees. The other 3 hours is charged at £750 per term.
If you still need to improve your language level further before joining one of our GCSE, Pre A-Level, A-Level or Foundation courses, you can do so with our sister school Select English. There you can studygeneral English and IELTS classes for 15, 20 or 25 hours per week. Select English is experienced at helping students to improve their level quickly and with helping them to pass their IELTS exam. This is key for further study at St Andrew’s College or for university entrance. Lessons are held at our Station Road site which is close to the centre of Cambridge. There you can experience language learning both inside and outside the classroom with our team of experienced teachers.
