External Exam Centre
Exam Centre for non-St Andrews College Cambridge candidates
Entering as a private candidate with St. Andrew’s College Cambridge Exam Centre
St. Andrew’s College Cambridge welcomes entries from external/private candidates and there is no obligation to have tuition with us. It is important that you do everything stated in the instruction letter so that we avoid problems with entry.
St. Andrew’s College Cambridge can offer all examination boards for GCSE and A-Level including I-A-Levels, and Pre-U courses but we cannot offer any practical exams to external examinations and we also cannot mark coursework for private candidates. If you can opt for the theory papers for your science A-Level rather than practical and supply a mark for any coursework then we would be able to help you. We can also arrange oral exams if required.
If you have taken external exams before then please insert your UCI number (12 digits ending in a letter) which should be on your previous statement of results. When you complete the form you will also need your unit/syllabus codes for each of the exams you wish to be entered for. St. Andrew’s College Cambridge cannot provide any specific details about course content, but this is available from the relevant exam board.
The fees we charge are per A-Level or GCSE module/unit and include the cost of the exam entry, all administration fees and invigilator costs. Exams take place at our site in Station Road Cambridge.
