I have been Principal at St Andrew’s College Cambridge for more than ten years and I really enjoy my job. Helping to students to be successful and achieve their goals is my aim as Principal.

I received my MBA in 1999 and my PGCE teaching qualification in 2004. Prior to that, I was Sales and Marketing Director for one of the United Kingdom’s leading media companies. I’m also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

My interest has always been in education so I am proud to be the Principal at St Andrew’s College.

I try to use my previous professional experience to drive and inspire our business studies and economics departments. When I’m not working, I’ll be supporting the local Rugby club as Rugby is my passion. My team is WASPS and I go to watch them play as much as possible as well as supporting the England team.

My office is based at our Regent Street campus. Students are always welcome to come and see me. I can help students through the UCAS university application process and I am happy to offer advice and support at any time. It is important that all our students progress to university. We will help students to find the degree programme that best suits their individual interests and abilities.

It’s not all about academic progress…

Academic progress is very important but we also offer many other clubs and activities that will improve your time at St Andrew’s. Taking part in these will make you a more rounded individual. As Principal it is my responsibility to ensure that students participate in activities outside of lessons such as Young Enterprise. We also offer art, music, model building, games, computer and Stem clubs as well as many sports.

We hope that you decide to join St Andrew’s College Cambridge and spend a happy and memorable time with us.
