

Our architecture foundation course is designed for students with a keen interest in planning, constructing and designing buildings.
Students will undertake a rotation throughout the department learning a broad range of skills, demonstrating their creativity. The course curriculum is designed to help students prepare a portfolio which showcases their abilities and enables them to make informed decisions about their chosen specialism at university.
On the Architecture Foundation course, you will have the opportunity to learn 3D design, model making, product photography, fine art, printmaking, life drawing, fashion & textiles and contextual studies. The emphasis is on experimentation with processes and materials to create final work.
Previous students have gone on to study Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning and Interior Design at prestigious universities.
