St Andrew’s Tutorial Services Limited is registered in England with company number 01835460 and is owned by Mervyn Martin and his family. Our website is We provide GCSE, Pre A Level, A Level and Foundation courses to individuals students aged 14 and over.

This policy sets out the following;

  2. The way we process the information we have collected from you. This could be information that you knowingly provide to us through the website by submitting an online form

There are two types of information that our website collects. The first is statistical information which is collected as you browse our site and the second is personal information which you knowingly give to us by completing a contact form, course booking form or newsletter sign up.


Our website will collect usage information as visitors browse our website via Google Analytics. Google Analytics will collect information such as the number and frequency of visitors to our website. The data that cookies collect allows us to see how people use our website and helps us to make changes to our website that will improve user experience. The data collected is used in an aggregated and non-personally identifiable way.

Information regarding health, allergies, educational needs to ensure your welfare, health and safety
to enable us to respond to any related issues in an informed manner
to enable us to make any advance preparations such as buying food for special diets.


We will only use your personal information for the purpose for which it was collected. There are several types of form you can complete on our website and it is detailed below how the information collected on these forms will be processed

Website Contact Form

This form will be emailed to our Admissions Department who will respond to your enquiry. Your information will not be recorded in any way and will not be kept on file.

Our website may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the content of other people’s sites and therefore, it is recommended that you review their privacy policies before providing any personal information on those websites.


We will sometimes need to share your information with third parties to deliver our courses to you. We will limit the information that we share with them and will only provide them with the details they need to deliver the service they offer.

During the year, we use Airport Lynx for individual student transfers to and from the airport. We provide them with your name and contact number when you provide your flight details to book a transfer.

The school occasionally works with Hosts International, a homestay consultancy company, to organise homestays for students. In this case your name, date of birth and any relevant medical information will be shared with Hosts International.


Any data we hold is stored on our servers at 11 Station Road and 89 Regent Street in locked server rooms.  We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration to your personal data. We do not have a singularly defined period for keeping your data as we collect data for many different purposes. For each individual category of data, we have a timeframe within which we keep your data, and these are stated in our Data Protection Policy.


We do not guarantee that our website will be free from bugs or viruses


You have the right to contact us in writing and request any information we hold on you. You can also request for us to delete your record. Will we do this if there are no other reasons why we need to retain the information such as a legal requirement. We need to be certain that we are communicating with the person that the data belongs to, and therefore, may request ID in order to carry out your request.


Under the Data Protection Act 1998 the data controller is St Andrew’s Tutorial Services Limited who is wholly responsible for protecting your data. The Privacy Lead will deal with the request and it will be responded to within a reasonable period which will be no longer than 28 days.
