We publish articles on our website and also on our social media channels on a regular basis to keep our community up to date with activities taking place.  In addition, we send out a regular newsletter to our parents, pupils and staff.  There are videos and testimonials on the site from both our current and former students if you would like to see what they say about St Andrew’s and what they have enjoyed and valued about being at the college.

Cambridge offers an abundance of opportunities beyond the classroom, and we wholeheartedly encourage our students to explore the city’s rich cultural landscape during their free time.

One standout destination is the University Museum of Zoology, located just a 20-minute walk from our ...school.

This remarkable museum showcases a vast array of fascinating exhibitions—from the awe-inspiring 21-meter fin whale skeleton suspended in the Whale Hall to intricate insect collections and rare fossils. It’s an exciting place where students can delve into the wonders of the natural world and ignite their curiosity.

We believe that learning extends beyond textbooks, and visits to institutions like the Museum of Zoology provide invaluable experiences that complement academic studies.

Who says learning can’t be an adventure?

Our Geography students regularly head out on field trips to explore real-world environments, from rivers and coasts to urban centres.

Field trips aren’t just a treat, they’re part of the lesson. It’s hands-on, minds-on, and way ...more fun than sitting still!

Learning happens where theory meets experience — and that’s what makes it so fun and memorable!

One of the best kind of learning is the kind you can see, touch, and experience.

Punting in Cambridge – A Quintessential Experience 🍃

There’s nothing quite like punting on the River Cam to capture the spirit of Cambridge. As you glide past the majestic colleges, under iconic bridges like the Bridge of Sighs and the Mathematical Bridge, you’re immersed in ...centuries of history, academic excellence, and natural beauty.

For our students at St Andrew’s College Cambridge, punting isn’t just a tourist activity — it’s part of student life. Whether enjoying a sunny afternoon with friends or taking a relaxing break during exam season, punting offers a unique way to unwind and see the city from a different perspective.

From the river, you’ll witness Cambridge at its most picturesque — trailing wisteria, gothic spires, and students reading under willows. For newcomers, it’s a perfect introduction to the charm and tradition that define life in Cambridge 💫
