St Andrew’s College Cambridge is a leading A Level School in the heart of Cambridge, offering A Levels Cambridge students in a range of durations to suit different starting points and ambitions. As a long-established private sixth form Cambridge college, we run A Levels in small classes (average size 8), with weekly personal tutorials, and a curriculum built around the universities our students are aiming for. Whether you are joining for a standard 2 year A Level, a 3 year A Level with built-in English support, an 18 month accelerated route, or a 2.5 year January start, this page explains how the course works, what you can study, who it suits and where it leads.
The most accepted route to UK universities, students choose three or four subjects to study in depth over a two-year or 18-month period. Ideal for students with academic and inquisitive minds who enjoy studying and perform well in exams, A-Levels are accepted by all universities worldwide.
Students who have studied A-Levels can go on to study any subject of their choosing at university, including the notoriously competitive subjects such as medicine, economics, engineering and law.
Each student benefits from individual attention and feedback, enabling them to significantly improve their grades and therefore opportunities to access top universities.
