Christine Brierley

Christine has been teaching STEM subjects, with a focus on Mathematics in particular, since 2007. She received an honours degree in Education specialising in Science from the University of Warwick. She has worked in both Primary and Secondary education, including as Head of Mathematics at Sandy Upper School, Lead Teacher and Head of House at North Cambridge Academy, and Deputy Head at Sunny View School on the Costa del Sol.  She is also head of the A Level programme at St Andrew’s.

Christine is very positive and has a deep love of learning, particularly in the application of knowledge and problem-solving. She has been actively involved in project-based learning initiatives and is always looking for ways to further enhance and extend the curriculum, both inside and outside of the classroom.  Outside of college, Christine is passionate about travelling and teaching and is involved in many volunteering projects from Barbados to Moldova.
