Our Pre A Level course is a great way to improve your English level whilst developing some foundation knowledge in academic subjects

PRE A LEVEL COURSES

The St Andrew’s College, Cambridge Pre A Level course prepares students for A Level or Foundation Courses. It offers a combination of English language training and IELTS exam preparation with some academic preparation in Maths and Academic subjects. Students can choose to study one or two terms. The Pre A level Course is an alternative to studying GCSEs. Depending on your English level, this could be a faster route to the academic course you want to study.

There are 3 Pathways available. Students can choose the following options

  • Art (Fine Art and Textiles or Photography)
  • Business (Business Studies and Economics)
  • Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics)
Students can progress to our A Level and Foundation courses via our internal tests. This means that it is less pressurised than a GCSE course.

There are 3 Pre A Level Pathways. Science, Humanities or Art. All students will study English and Maths with an additional 5 hours of their chosen pathway subjects.
